It gets frustrating because you hear this shit and immediately go "No, that's stupid" but saying anything gets you dogpiled by multiple people. I've learned to start biting my tongue but it's very frustrating to have to even give the impression that I don't find this stuff moronic.

It's the same when they bring up the WEF, and I have to explain just because something exists doesn't mean every story about the group is true.

My mum has been like this since the Islam scare, but has only gotten worse, my other family members are newer recruits.

But now my mum unironically claims that the Islam scare was a fear tactic pushed by the liberals like COVID and Ukraine. Even though it was solely right wing news outlets pushing Islam as all being extremist terrorists.

It must be nice for conservatives though to have a base with a memory that lasts less than a decade.
