Was that the sorceress lady with the big boobs? Yeah she wrecks shop. You're supposed to avoid her as much as you can and she gets bored and runs away eventually.
I hate Green Units so much. Have to save4 kids and get them across a bridge, which would be easy, but they just run into the mob's range and I don't know how to stop them. Since the Green Units go before the Mobs in this game, they keep running ahead of my army and dying. What's so hard about programing the AI to not get into fucking range?
I've had a Mage the entire game and it's never evolved into the next class. I'm sure it's the INT stat being to low, but god damn. Not that I"m missing them, I think the Mages are rather terrible in this game.Mages are quite strong, but sometimes a bad element can make their growth abysmal. Fire and Lightning mages are very powerful on offense. Try using an element changer and see if their INT changes.

I thought fire and lightning mages are bad, since those are strength and skill focused elements. It's high magic you want, isn't it? And water gives magic bonuses.Sorry I wasn't clear. The second tier of mages are categorized as Fire, Ice, and Lightning mages. These dictate their attack patterns.
Oh wow, the game is actually really good

Omg, yes!Got access to side quests now!
I need to build a few Armies to combat the Assassin units. Getting smoked by the Sneak Attacks right now
Just remember to try to put your healers and magic users in the middle row, not the back row. Put a couple tough melee guys in the back row. That way you can survive sneak attacks.
Does anyone else think ambush attacks sometimes don't trigger when they should? Or do I possibly not fully understand them? I'll be in the woods, as a light infantry unit, I melee attack someone next to me, and it'll sometimes be a normal attack instead of an ambush attack. Shouldn't that situation create an ambush?
