Of course it is. Miura's health was so bad that he was unlikely to be doing much, if any, of the artwork for the last volume or so. His team has fully copied his style, and they have his writing. Berserk will still look and read the same. Ye need not worry.

I should probably actually catch up. I'm past the trauma points that stopped me from reading it before.

aww yea.

even if Miura's final chapter would have been a somewhat fitting end for the series, there are still so many unresolved story elements that I feel it would be best that it gets a proper ending, regardless of whether it's as good as the one Miura would have given it or not.

If there's one story that deserves this kind of posthumous treatment, it's Berserk. Seems like they have the right people for the job and the backing too.

I am SO glad this is happening. I was really hoping it would. Miura's death hit me kind of hard. It still won't feel the same without him but at least it's gonna end.

Good having one writer is overrated. The best series always had multiple writers which more people = more and better ideas. If I started something I would feel honored that people like my work enough to want to finish it.

Why wasn't a team set up to do this long beforehand? Same for most other manga that suffer from long ass hiatus. I understand it's a hassle for most manga, but ones like berserk should be a exception.

In the last chapter, the moonlight boy (Guts and Casca's kid) morphed back into Griffith, who he shares a body with. This is the first time Casca will have seen Griffith in her right mind since the eclipse. She can't even look at Guts, I can't imagine what seeing Griffith is gonna do to her

Miura wasn't in bad health he died from an unexpected ruptured aorta. Kind of a time bomb in his chest that he didn't know he had. His death was a shock to everyone.
