Aktually, he wasn't claiming that at all. He was just making a generalized statement about the nature of criticism devoid of integration with the context he was making it in.

and doubling, tripling and quadrupling down while admitting to have not read the article. It was a bad take and he should have corrected it. The fact that it wasn't intended to be malicious is why it only got a warning (and that's the fair and correct call imo). Still, shitty thing to say and once he was called out for it, he should have looked into the story instead of doubling down.

I also made my judg(no e)ment based on what he said in the topic, and the mod handling the reports on them agreed. Without history of transphobia, there wasn't really a reason to go harder than a warning given the posts came across as misguided ignorance and failure to look into the context properly. It could have been dogwhistle bullshit but they would need history to determine that. I, like the mod, interpreted the posts as ignorance rather than malice.

Why? Because you ignored everything else that I said and cherry picked one thing to bitch about. I am generously providing you with a means to correct that problem.
