My family has been raising pet chickens for over a decade, and we use their eggs which are unfertilized. Every single hen has a name, is hand raised, and is well cared for.

i believe vegans are morally sound on the question of animal welfare, but am admittedly a hypocrite with respect to my dietary habitssure but there are an absurd number of things that the morally sound thing to do would be to avoid; acting holier-than-thou about meat while using basically any electronics, buying any nestle products, ordering from Amazon, using anything that burns fossil fuels, etc is asinine
