Credit to Liz Cheney.

I just read the statement she made on the floor yesterday and its nice to see a republican stand up for the nation over the party for a change. Its telling that the response from some of the leadership is to completely ignore what she is saying and pretend removing her is about her abilities and not just blind support to Trump and the fringe.

The minority leader is a shit bag and the party turning on her like this is going to just empower her. There are a lot of moderate people that used to (or still do) vote republican that dont support what has been going on. Leaders like her will
are needed.

I believe that most people, initially, do get into politics for good reasons but true leadership is scarce today. People like her or Romney deserve a little credit for doing the right thing when its going to cost them in the party.

So you would prefer that she just bow down to the Trump bull shit? I get that people dont like republicans or her father but I dont agree at all that what she is doing is easy or normal for a politician. She is taking a stand for what is right and good for the nation over her immediate career and party. Something very few politicians ever do (even fewer republicans). That takes balls.

She's a homophobic piece of trash that is doing the bare minimum of recognizing reality so she can still just go fuck right off. I'm happy to watch the fireworks from the sidelines, though.
