Have you considered being lucky?Fuck man I wish
rng manipulationWell its the start of the game so I don't have the Shiny Charm so this is pure luck.
Lol @ doing thisGot in the mood to play some Omega Ruby and wanted to play the game with a shiny starter.
First time shiny hunting and going for a shiny Torchic in Omega Ruby via soft resetting. Been doing it since yesterday at 1:00pm - 3:00am and now since 12:00pm - now.Well, yeah. It's a 1 in 8000 chance, what did you expect?
Its really dawned on me that this could take days or even weeks, possibly even months.
Well, yeah. It's a 1 in 8000 chance, what did you expect?Nah man, 50/50.
Well, yeah. It's a 1 in 8000 chance, what did you expect?
Not anymore, in ORAS it's 1/4096.Wait, what? Was that change permenant?
Wait, what? Was that change permenant?Since XY, yeah.
I reset for a shiny rayquaza once and then when I finally got it I KO'd it and gave up on everything.Oh no! That would hurt so bad.
Not gonna give you shit for doing this because I've done a lot of stupid shit like this in video games myself. But good luck I guess. Thanks, ima need it.
Maybe create a second player account and take turns shiny hunting? I think each account will get a difference hash so alternate luck.Don't think I understand what you mean by this.
I can get more shinies in a day on PoGo than I've ever gotten since I started playing Pokemon Yellow.
First time shiny hunting and going for a shiny Torchic in Omega Ruby via soft resetting. Been doing it since yesterday at 1:00pm - 3:00am and now since 12:00pm - now.You almost spent a collective 21+ hours trying to get what's objectively a palette swap. Think about that.
Shinies have become such a meme now though -- chaining, battles fought, shiny charm, masuda method, dynamax adventures literally give you a 1/100 chance at getting a shiny (rolled up to 4 times depending on if you win the adventure), one of which is literally a legendary.I'm soft resetting at the start of the game, this is pure raw luck.
You almost spent a collective 21+ hours trying to get what's objectively a palette swap. Think about that.Do you know how badass it would be to play through this game with a shiny starter that I started out with??
Do you know how badass it would be to play through this game with a shiny starter that I started out with??With the incorrect nature and shit IVs most likely.
I reset for a shiny rayquaza once and then when I finally got it I KO'd it and gave up on everything. This, kids, is why you ALWAYS save your Master Ball.
With the incorrect nature and shit IVs most likely.Fuck it dude, I want my shiny flame chicken. Besides this is just for the main game so nature and ivs don't really matter.
This, kids, is why you ALWAYS save your Master Ball. Also this.
I reset for a shiny rayquaza once and then when I finally got it I KO'd it and gave up on everything.
This, kids, is why you ALWAYS save your Master Ball.I feel like this is false; you should always have a million ultra balls in the event of a random (or intentional) shiny.
I reset for a shiny rayquaza once and then when I finally got it I KO'd it and gave up on everything.oof
This, kids, is why you ALWAYS save your Master Ball.Or use a Breloom with spore and false swipe. Use one with poison heal ability and make sure it's poisoned then give it leftovers and it will never need to be healed.
