I used to not really care, but once I got into my 30's it started dawning on me that I'm never going to get what I want out of life(wife and kids). Once that sunk in, I've kind of been struggling to keep my depression under control. At this point, I'd love to simply meet someone and possibly become intimate or date, but even that seems impossible.
It just sucks and sometimes I can't think of a reason to keep going if all my major goals are unachievable.
I'd never blame someone for not wanting to be with me though. I don't understand that mindset at all, but I'd be lying if I said there weren't destructive/intrusive thoughts directed at myself though.
