Eve offers you the forbidden fruit, would YOU eat it?

Desiring this wisdom, the woman eats the forbidden fruit and gives some to the man who also eats it. They become aware of their "nakedness" and make fig-leaf clothes, and hide themselves when God approaches. God curses The Serpent, The Woman then The Man, and expels the Man and Woman from the garden and thereby from eternal life.

I'm confused, are you saying if you were in Adam's position, or if she offered it to you today? If it's the latter there wouldn't be much of a reason to because the effect was passed down.

Yeah, I eat it. I lack knowledge of good and evil, so I don't understand the consequences of my actions.

The entire thing was a setup by God. Sabotaged from day 1 -- couldn't just have humans innate with the knowledge in a land of suffering, nonono.
