Are you afraid of death?

I am turning 26 this Thursday and I am terrified.

I have far too much left to do to go and die now. So yeah, it's scary to think about.
I drowned when I was 10, fear of death no longer has any hold over me.

I think we fear uncertainty more.

We are naturally scared of things we dont know and things we cant see. Like looking into the sea at night or getting lost in a forest when its pitch black.

If we know whats on the other side of death, im sure not many people will fear it.
I fear pain, not death.
A show of kindness may not do much help, but a show of cruelty may do much harm.
"If I am, then death is not. If death is, then I am not. So what reason would I have to fear death?"
Death is afraid of me
I don't hate people, people hate me.
I look forward to it

No. I mean it sucks, but we all gotta go at some point, just a part of life.
When I die hopefully I have accomplished most of what I want out of life and go out on my own terms or from old age.

I don't want to die because I enjoy life but somehow I'm not afraid of death because after it happens I won't even know it happened. I understand that might not make sense.

nope

I drove through an active train crossing in zero visibility the other night during a storm because a few other people did it first.

when I got to my house about a mile down the track I heard the train go by
I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen...
No, because I go to sleep every night and don't remember it. I could drop dead this instant and I wouldn't be able to have any kind of regrets of "I had so much life left to live."

Definitely this.
There will always be exceptions.
Not really afraid of death. Kinda afraid I will have accomplished nothing of note when my time does come though. Likely no kids to remember me, no more than a few friends and family will mourn for me. It gets pretty depressing when you stop and think about it.

I'm afraid of a slow, painful death. Otherwise, I don't really care much.

No. Once I had experienced death, I came to the conclusion that what happens is inevitable. Worrying about it, or fearing it is pointless.

Not really. I've had many close calls in my life and afterwards it's just kind of like "meh, it wouldn't have been so bad." I don't think dying would feel any different from fainting or going to sleep, unless it's from a horrible injury or something.

I am not afraid of dying. Those close to me will mourn and that's heartbrbeaking, but hopefully my impact during my time alive makes their lives overall better in the long run.

However, I am afraid that I would not reach my full potential to change lives or help people, and I will never get to change that.
