Growing up, did your parents ever tease you about girls?

My mom did and it was annoying AF at the time.

My mom did and now she just teases me about 2D girls or a secret Japanese girlfriend she thinks I'm hiding from her

whenever my dad saw me playing with a girl when he came to pick me up from school or something he said "is that your girlfriend"

Way too fucking much. It kinda hurt my self-esteem to the point where I didn't even want them to see me with a girl.

My dad and uncles did. All the women just said to not get someone pregnant.

I never have been the sort of person that shares significantly personal stuff with parents.

Mostly my stepdad. I'm still not convinced he grasped the farce of a man who literally

1) had not been married
2) had not had kids
3) nor even had sex until his 40s

Nah but ill never forget 2 embarrassing stories that happened....

Event #1. Sophmore yr me and a Sr skip school to fuck at my house...my mom leaves for work. Carla (the Sr) parks in my driveway, and comes in. We're in my room making out and my shirt is off ...my mom comes back home cause she forgot her lunch and ends up flipping out thinking i had one of my boys over to play xbox...she sees its a girl and what is about to go on...SHE ENDS UP GIVING US BOTH THE SEX TALK...i didnt go to school the next 2 days and when i did i was made fun. Lol also my dad was proud of me and mad at my mom.

Event 2...im at the theaters with my dad and theres a cute chick in line. My dad sees me checking her out and tells me to go up to her...i was a chicken shit and didnt want to so my dad coughs loud she turns i say nothing and my dad goes "my son thinks you're cute, would you give him your number" ..she said noo...but what my dad taught me was that when asking a girl out the worst thing that can happen is you get turned down.

Definitely gave me the confidence later on in hs and early adulthood to sleep around with as many girls as possible even ones i would think are out of my league

no but my dad would always ask me if I was going out with any girls and give me advice

the advice was actually pretty good but I still didn't want it

I never ever lived down the bird and the bees talk. Never got to smash Carla and never went to SR prom as a sophmore. Ugh but that was my mom. Completely innocent and ignorant of being cool.

But ya that was a good life lesson with my dad. And it's true nothing bad can happen from asking a girl out. And honestly when you don't get turned down it makes up for anytime you were rejected. I used to be so scared to talk to other girls that i wasnt friends with. Rejection was a fear for me and i assume most kids in high school
