Wow

Asteroid death is more likely than shark attack death?
How are you more likely to die to an asteroid than a shark?
If you're going through hell, keep going.

But riding in a car van or truck is lower than gun assaults

that doesn't include pedestrians struck by vehicles which is a huge share of vehicular deaths.

There is no recorded instance of a person being killed by an asteroid, so the bottom of that is total bunk.

That makes sense. Cant wait for these automated vehicles jeezzzz

So any motor vehicle incident is a combination of riding in a car, pedestrian and motorcycle im gonna assume.

Also the link has a link to all their sources. Looks like the cdc did the statistics and they put it together

If so much as a single person has ever died from a stuffed shark falling on them, or them falling into a shark tank in an inland aquarium, that means that sharks are responsible for killing more people on land than asteroids.

Odds seem completely wrong.

Theres no way, glancing at the math, that theres a 1:315 odds in being murdered by a gun in your lifetime.

homicide/expanded_homicide_data_table_8_murder_victims_by_weapon_2009-2013.xls

In 2013 the FBI reported 8454 homicides by firearm. Thats total. Even if you assume there was twice the amount unreported, the odds are nowhere close.
