Worked in machinery for a year making tools

I am a behavioral therapist now, working with kids on the autism spectrum.
"Had" to? No, I choose to. Structural mechanics, steel fabrication, welding, installation.
I faced it all and I stood tall- And did it my way.
i briefly did some construction work back in college to make spending money. it was mostly cleaning up after the carpenters and shit, a lot of throwing things in dumpsters and carrying things

I guess I probably did more physical labor as the research assistant where sometimes I had to make stuff using the universitys machine shop.

Worked as an auto body tech for four years. Some of the best times of my life and probably my second favorite job.

I don't have an official job title but if you asked me what I do for a job with that company, I would answer "structural mechanic."

That's funny, getting a degree and working white collar is what drove me to improve my skills and work in the blue collar world. Sitting behind a desk 40 hours a week for the rest of my working career, hell no.

No, due to being in high school and never having a job, but within high school I've done woodworking (and some heavy lifting as a result), maintenance on small engines, and electrical wiring/soldering, but it's all been unpaid.
Warehouse receiver on a military installation here. Not a hard job but not a particularly good one either.
