Hunter X Hunter I'm only so far as the English Dub, which is middle of the Chimera Ant Arc I guess?
Greed Island was honestly REALLY bad. Brotherhood had no parts that were bad, IMO.

I would also argue that My Hero Academia belongs in this thread... granted it is early in its run, but damn Season 2 especially was magnificent.

Eh, I think there's not much in terms of shounen that can compare to Yorkshin arc, not from the new HxH or the old.

Well, it's FMA:B, but this list is missing a lot of anime like Trigun, Dragonball, YYH, and so forth.

Also if Cowboy Bebop is Shonen, that is up there

It was far too long, the rules were convoluted and it was vastly different in tone compared to the rest of the series.
I can't say I hated it, and it introduced some cool characters, but the villains are lame especially after who we just had seen before. It was like they were ramping up for some GREAT stuff and then we took a detour into mediocrity.

I like both from the poll, but my two favorite shounen are: Death Note and Yu Yu Hakusho.

It's quite well known that the tolerance for violent elements in children's media is lower in America, thus many shounen shows got either censored or rated R. That doesn't make them not shounen.
