Theyd prolly get Paul Anderson to direct it, who would cast Milla Jovovich as a female super soldier code named Viper, and be loosely based on the MGS games while throwing in some fan service.

Isn't the dude who did the new King Kong movie supposed to direct the MGS movie? Either way, I think MGS1 could be a good movie. Explaining the happenings of MG1 and MG2 would be a pain in the ass though.

There are cutscenes in MGS4 longer than feature films, and those are just single scenes. I don't think you can cram MGS's plot into a film honestly.
