PDS =/= Panzer Dragoon

Panzer Dragoon = Rail shooter
Panzer Dragoon Zwei = Rail shooter
Panzer Dragoon Saga = expensive RPG

I'd give it a 3. It looks nice for a Saturn game but not a big fan of it. Good to waste some time on though.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is the third game in the Panzer Dragoon trilogy; the first game is just called Panzer Dragoon. The first two Panzer Dragoon games are moderately pricey ($30-50 disc-only, $60-80 complete), but they're nowhere near as expensive as PDS.

On topic... I'd give it a 3 or 4. I haven't played many rail shooters & the first Panzer Dragoon's a pretty hard one... so I've only made it to the end of level 1 (I also haven't played PD1 that much). I guess I'll probably give it a four since it was pretty impressive for a 1995 3D game.

Complete copies range from $600-1,000. Not sure how much all four discs go for without the case/manual, but individual replacement discs go for like $150 each.

Its US print run was 30,000 at most, the Saturn already has a big cult following & PDS is widely considered one of the best JRPGs ever made by those who were able to play it; there's also the fact that the Saturn is a really difficult system to emulate.

So, yeah... it's pretty pricey.

Surprised only four people rated it so far; I know the Saturn wasn't exactly a hot seller outside Japan, but I figured one of its biggest launch titles & the first in of one of Sega's most acclaimed franchises would garner a bit more votes...

On that note, as the person who nominated them, you can probably disregard Gun Nac & Soldier Blade, TC; if Panzer Dragoon only got four ratings in a day, I'd be surprised if those two got more than two in the first day.

Yeah it's ok we'll see what happens. Sometimes I move towards more mainstream games, just shuffle it a few times.

3, a competent tech demo that unfortunately held most of its content behind difficulty modes.
