I don't like when they just refill my drink without asking because unless it's water I'm probably not gonna have more than one glass anyways

It depends...if Im drinking beer with my meal then I expect prompt service for refills. If Im not drinking then I can deal with a little slow service.

I went to a breakfast place twice and experienced terrible service both times. They weren't even busy. My girl wrote a pretty bad Yelp review after and we never went again. Food was good but wasn't worth returning.

The food has to be phenomenal for me to go through bad service.

Isnt that the norm in some European countries? Maybe not bad but fairly slow service and they leave you alone to eat.

We used to live near a diner that was super tasty but took literally like an hour from order to table every single time.

I live in central New Jersey and Queens NYC. If we don't like a place we never go back, because the options are so vast.
I faced it all and I stood tall- And did it my way.

Each place tastes different though. The Indian restaurant I go to in Williamsburg tastes unlike any of the Indian restaurants I've eaten at in the past 25 years.
