I keep hearing its a lot more linear than the first 2
Its not a bad game, but the previous two were much better.
Turok 2 is much more linear than the first and people seem to praise that one as better. It all depends on what you like.
It's way better than 2 but not as good as 1.

I get that the graphics were amazing for N64 and the weapons were better, but I don't want as many corridors. You know your worries are mostly ahead and behind. In the first one, knowing an enemy can come from any direction while you're in an open field was quite unnerving to me as a kid.
And yeah the atmosphere for the Blind Ones level fucked with my head, too. I love Turok 2 but I prefer the first.
I DO NOT like being forced to play with the Wiimote. I don't understand why they couldn't accommodate for the GC controller.
That said I couldn't finish the game due to the above. But what I played outside of the controllers I liked fairly well. It felt more like a Halo game.

Ill be honest with you, I loved playing the prime games with a wiimote. But thats also because they were much easier, and I suck
I did it once and that was enough. Now when I play it, I pick and choose what I turn on and off. I won't legitimately get the chronoscepter again.
Hairy-man posted...I'll agree because I'm the exact opposite. I played RE4 first on the Wii and could never play the original or any port due to controls.

It's a matter of what you get used to. I played RE4 on Gamecube first and suck at playing it on Wii when it SHOULD be easier.
That's one of the most atmospheric FPS levels I've ever been in. That music, man..
You can tell it was starting to bleed into the catastrophe of bad game that was Other M,

thanosibe posted...The option should have been there. I'm no developer but it doesn't seem like an impossible option to have when the two previous entries used the GC controller and the GC controller can be used on the Wii for even N64 games on the VC.

Because the Wiimote was the perfect controller for the series and I can't go back to the GC controller.

How dare you compare that dumpster fire to MP3.
