I mean, Russian's can just come in and vote for you and then their puppet can just obstruct the justice system to their leisure and do whatever they can to put money in their coffers, as long as they don't get in Russia's way, so I'm not seeing how democracy is even relevant anymore. Have people just given up and submitted to their overlords?

I gave up my faith in democracy long before Trump came to power. His presidency, frankly, hasn't changed a bit about my beliefs regarding that.

Still, what can you do? Everything else is either worse or a gamble. Might as well take the least of the evils there are.
