For those of you unable to determine your sexuality, I'm posting two pics below which should help you figure things out:

Transsexual, non-binary, intersex? These aren't sexual orientations. 'Transsexual' is just an outdated medical term for trandgender, which pertains to gender identity. 'Intersex' is a broad term for people whose bodies might have all kinds of weird medical shit going on that makes them seem gender-ambiguous, like people who are literally born as hermaphrodites. Again, this is not related to sexual orientation.
I always pegged 'non-binary' as one of those special snowflake terms that people use to draw attention to themselves, but maybe I'm being close minded. I suppose it's possible that someone would not want to associate themselves with the conventional gender spectrum for whatever reason, but this still has no relation to sexual orientation.

Transsexuality isn't a sexual orientation. It's a throwback term for referring to transgender people. People still use it, but it's a bit of an oxymoron because you can't change your biological sex. Gender is less concrete because of the social aspect, and actually can be a bit more malleable, so the term 'transgender' a bit more useful and intuitive.
Whatever happened to standards? Whatever happened to bare minimums?

I felt like I could "escape" to these fora and vent and voice whatever I wanted. Being the utlra geek/nerd that I was back then, I was also not the most sociable person. All that has changed and took a lot of years to do so but that's irrelevant. I was referring to people who aren't as sociable as the average Joe because in many ways I can relate to this, even though I actively chastise this lifestyle.
