The Ngage was actually decent in concept but that design and the fact that it was before it's time killed it.

3DO was the xbox one x of it's time. it's a shame it couldn't beat the Playstation X.

NGage had some genuinely great shooters and run and gun games that I discovered later via emulation. If your someone who wants to play all the good games from every generation, get on it!

steam machines are a great concept ruined by Valve being stupid and half-assing everything like usual

but they were not fundamentally any different than prebuilt PCs so I wouldn't put them in the same category as the others tbh

Yeah I had an Ngage. Nokia was right that phones would one day be gameing devices too they just didn't know how to make it work. It was bad as a phone and a gaming device.
