Nickelodeon:

Doug
Rugrats
Hey Arnold
Rockos Modern Life
Aaaah! Real Monsters
Angry Beavers
Catdog
Spongebob Squarepants

Cartoon Network:

Dexters Laboratory
Powerpuff Girls
Johnny Bravo
Cow & Chicken
Ed, Edd & Eddy
Courage The Cowardly Dog
I Am Weasel
Grim & Evil

Powerpuff Girls is my favorite show out of all of them, but Nickelodeon had more good shows.
Cartoon Network and it isn't even close.

SMU Mustangs / Jayhawks / Texans / Rockets/Astros

Courage alone makes CN GOAT
Prime Spongebob was fucking incredible though.
So... Is this just Nicktoons? Not the rest of the Nickelodeon shows? Those were a lot better than the cartoons.

This. I watched a lot more Nickelodeon growing up.
I guess I'm something of a ne'er do well.
Pittsburgh

this. it would be fair to even include adult swim - it would win with or without it.

loved this show as a kid. watched it as an adult.. omg so much yelling. still, it belonged on the list. was huge.

a similar perspective for cartoon network... adventure time belonged on the list.

Although I never gave Johnny Bravo a fair chance. I bet if I go back and watch it, I'd dig it.

season 1 is great. after that, it gets silly.
As much I love CN, Nick had SpongeBob, Hey Arnold and Invader Zim

They win for those alone

I honestly liked Nickelodeon better when they were running shit like Clarissa Explains it All. Their newer wave shows were all crappy except for Spongebob--which admittedly was better than anything on CN, but CN had a much higher average quality of shows.
What TC listed as nicks prime, I generally never liked that much

This was my question. Including AYAOTD, double dare, etc would make Nick win but if it's just cartoons CN takes it no contest (even with greats like Hey Arnold and Angry Beavers).

Then something is seriously wrong with you. There are two Paddington Bear movies and Danger Mouse/Cities of Gold have had recent remakes.

There's nothing seriously wrong with me. I was born in the late 90s. Why would I have heard of these random non-classic shows?

Did you really just call danger mouse a non classic...

I won't touch the others even though you're wrong there too but how have you not heard of danger mouse. Wtf

None of those shows have had reruns on tv in my lifetime and nobody ever talks about them ever. I have no idea what danger mouse is. If it was really a classic, I'd know about. I'm essentially obsessed with tv

Look it up. Ran for like 10 years and had the spinoff Count Duckula for like 4 too. Well worth looking it up if you're into TV.

The problem is there's too much media. When's the last time you saw a rerun of "I Dream of Jeannie" or "Bewitched"?

Classics kinda implies that they're not in circulation anymore IMO.

Prime Cartoon Network has late 90s-early 00s Toonami.

I'm talking bout DBZ, Gundam Wing, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, Johnny Quest, Ruroni Kenshin, etc.

Bruh remember Ronin Warriors.

No, classic implies it's not in circulation and it's an extremely well known show that's still beloved and talked about. The shows that were mentioned are not talked about and I don't think they're very well known. I'll look into it though

Johnny Quest, easily.
Nothing beats seasons 1-3 Spongebob. Hey Arnold was also good.

Ed Edd 'n Eddy is great, as well as Powerpuff Girls and Courage. But Spongebob still trounces them.
Touch fuzzy get dizzy.
I can't say I ever really wanted to tune into Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and all of its spinoff blocks absolutely crushed everything else at the time. Both suck now though.
I still have no idea why people think Catdog or Rocket League were good shows.

Regardless, I'm upset at no mention of Space Ghost Coast to Coast/Cartoon Planet.
If you're not looking for any honest discussion, agreement, meeting halfway or middle ground, don't bother arguing with me. Selfish narcissists need not apply.
