2 imo tbh. I do like 3 and knuckles. I've not played mania yet

I also think the first one is somewhat underrated

But for serious Mania is great, but imo it loses some edge against the originals because it's mostly all been seen before. What makes it great is what it celebrates, rather than what new things it brings to the table. I absolutely adore it, though.

I just have this mental tick against Sonic 3. Angel Island is amazing. Ice Cap to the end of the game is great. But the entire middle part is so "blah" to me. Sonic and Knuckles was the better half. >_>

I agree. Sonic 3 has Marble Garden and Carnival Night bogging it down.

At least the other half consists of all good levels
