Reborn has an AWFULLY slow start, but it rises up to be pretty solid.

Kenichi, starts pretty decent and stays there.

I prefer Reborn.

Kenichi was much better all around. It had good humor, a good artstyle, badass fights and good character development. Reborn started off as a shitty gag series and then it became a series with cool battles but boring storylines and characters. It's all flash and no substance.
