I've never seen a credible anti-evolution argument

Albeit genetics as a concept objectively proves evolution anyway so it's not like the people coming up with anti-evolution arguments have much of an understanding of the subject to start with.

I consider it as factual as any statement can actually be. To me denying evolution is right up there with flat earthers and other similar nonsense.

I think the complexity of the subject (evolution) makes it more prone to misinformation and misrepresentation compared to the simple idea of "the earth is round". Evolution denial is bad, but I wouldn't put it on quite the same level.
