Which side of the trade will do better in the long run?

I partook in this trade today, but I won't say which side I was on. Who got the better deal?
On a Pokemon conquest to battle Verlisify. Wolfpack, let's take this to wifi. How many of you goons must I need to crush to score a match with your leader?

the lands, and it's not even close.

hostage taker will settle.
lands generally hold value long-term, and that particular style has had modern success already.

The lands because I don't care for Standard right now. I'm surprised that Hostage Taker has any value. I opened one in either my prerelease box or the prize packs and just wanted it for EDH, but now I think I should sell or trade it for something.

rare vs mythic, current draft set vs older set.

basically, it already has. rares these days don't go much higher than this, and they never stay unless there's a lot of eternal play.

Definitely Hostage Taker.

My main deck right now is a Black/Blue, plus I don't think I'd ever end up using a Green/Blue deck. If it were four of those land types with Black/Blue, Green/White, or Green/Black, I'd have wanted them instead.
