Skyrim = New Vegas > Fallout 4 > Fallout 3 > Oblivion
Never played Morrowind so can't rate it

I had the most fun with Skyrim BTW, but I think Fallout 3 is better.

New Vegas was the one I expected the least from and got the most out of. Great game

Yeah. I was surprised how much they got out of it with it running with the same engine and graphics of Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 felt the most special to me.

Skyrim, I guess. Never finished any of them, but I think I put the most time into that.
Oblivion was my overall favorite at first, but the level scaling
really
killed it for me once I learned about it.
Fallout 3 was probably my favorite gameplay wise (because of the perks), but I didn't like the setting at all.
I just really didn't care much for the other three. I was late to play Morrowind and the combat made me "nope" the hell away from it within an hour or so. New Vegas was glitchy as shit near launch and I decided not to invest time into it after watching my roommate's game freeze constantly and his saves get corrupted a few times. Fallout 4 was just... meh. The settlement building was the best part.

So, a question for the FONV people... what did you like about it more than the other games listed?
Just curious, because I felt it was kinda lame even compared to FO3. It felt like 3.5 instead of its own game, and not that an incremental update can't be good, but I just didn't like it as much.

New Vegas, but with Oblivion second and Morrowind a tight third.
Skyrim and FO3 were 6.5/10. FO4 was atrocious.

From what I gather, it's the amount of freedom in the story and the amount of options with the different factions. 3 and 4, by comparison, gave your character a much more specific story and hand-held your way through it with the main missions.

FO3 at least was still a role-playing game to some extent.
FO4 was a straight-up terrible first-person shooter with a dumb perk system and an even worse half-assed construction system that doesn't make any sense.
