I don't use it. Might have said as a kid, not the kind of thing I actively use in my vocabulary.

I have a friend who's Puerto Rican and she says it all the time so usually only around her. and not even a racist way

Very often, I can't stop. It's mostly 60% mentally, 30% self-murmurs, and the rest as endearment, and even then, it's routinely with an 'a'. <_<

i used to say it pretty often back in middle/high school but considering i grew up in a racially diverse setting, everyone used to say it

these days i don't say it much at all but i tend not use slang words in general anymore

I've only uttered it once in front of others. It was in middle school and it was an argument with some kid. In an online game I had previously played some guy called a user the N word and I heard someone say "Why did he call you the N word?" I thought N word must be some offensive word like calling someone a bitch or motherfucker or something. It wasn't until after I called this kid that word that I found out it had a racial connotation and man I felt terrible.

Going to be honest here, I don't use the word and I judge every single person who does as an idiot. Whether it is the hard 'r' or the 'a' version....I still think they are idiots.
