Torn between the new 2018 Special in natural with mini humbuckers

Selling old guitars to buy new guitars. Both are gorgeous, and the 2017 is cheaper, but the 2018 will be something totally new to my herd with the mini buckers. I can't decide.

first one looks cooler so that one, remember always decide things based on looks first and everything else second

I have a 2017 standard T in cherry so I'm lookin for something different.

worth noting that the exact colors and shape of the sunburst seem to vary pretty widely. Some are really light and subtle, with only a slight burst around the edges of the body, while others are a really heavy, dark brown burst with thick borders.

I mean I can make basically any guitar sound more or less the same, and for recording I already have go-to guitars. Everything else I buy is more for shows/touring so looks are the #1 priority yeah. As long as the neck isn't a log I can make it work.

Natural finish for sure. It's a much more unique look for an SG
