Which decade of TV series has the best opening credits?

In general. Obviously each decade has its fair share of bad. But which is most fondly remembered for having the best combination of visual and audio thrills that rouses you for the show, even if the actual show doesn't match up to the quality of the opening credits?

TV has been the best it's ever been this last decade. The year 2000 was the turning point for good tv. When shows like Six Feet Under, Sopranos and The Wire started paving the way. Tv is just getting better and better.

Please inform us on the good tv we had in the 90s? Would you be able to give a top three dramas and top three comedies?
