25 y/o Andrew Pasek from Houston was killed after Hurricane Harvey hit hiin Texas and he died whie walking in the floodwaters trying to get to his sister's house to feed her CAT!!
He and a friend didn't know as they walked through the knee-deep floods that they were near a downed landscape light that electrified the water..
He told his friend, Sean "I'm dying. Go away. Don't help me."
His mother, Jodell said that he didn't want his friend to get electrocuted too..
Sean Stuart said Andrew stumbled and put his hand on the electrical light pole and then with the electrical current racing through him, he couldn't pull away. He said "He told me just to get away from him. Just get as far away from him as i could. And so i had to let hi go"
Rescue crews couldn't revive him and couldn't reach him for more than an hour until the electricity was turned off..
The family is making sure to let people be aware of where they are stepping when wandering into floodwaters..
His sister, Alyssa was devastated oveer the loss and said "It was just a terrible mistake, acident that shouldn't have happened. Be aware of your situations, look around to see if there's electricity on. it should have never been on, it should have been turned off"
The family was dealt with tragedy many hears ago when their other son passed away in a car crash as Jodell says she's trying to find the strength to go through this again..
38 people have been killed from the Hurricane as that number is expected to rise..
