For me it was. With the NES, gaming was a fun hobby. With the SNES, it became a way of life.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.

I think its probably the one with the most nostalgia for most people. Between all the Square and First Party games, it had a handful of gems.
I think PS1's library was better overall, more diversity among the quality.

I just want to point out; if anyone is thinking something like GBA or PSP: The ports should not count.

SNES was basically just the best Nintendo system and two generation ahead of everything else in terms of quality.

That is to say, it was better than Playsttion in 5th gen, Playstation and Xbox rivaled it in 6th gen and finally surpassed it in 7th but Nintendo has never reached that level again.

I think most people would agree that the PS2 is the greatest console of all time but SNES is definitely a contender
I'm just looking for a nice girl to tickle my feet without touching my chin.

As a SNES fanatic, no.

PS2 has a bazillion games, and half of them were great, and the console had a lifespan of eternity. Oh, and it played DVDs and music.

You can't really compete with that level of utility and entertainment during that time period.
