Fucking love Spongebob. It's zany as fuck, but in a more coherent way than something like Ren and Stimpy. The amount of in-jokes and adult laughs are amazing and it's just so much fun. I always watched Spongebob as a kid and still find myself laughing at it today.

I haven't watched a new episode in years but it's pretty amazing that I know pretty much any non-holiday episode from the first four seasons by heart.

Its glory days have long since passed. The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie should have been the series finale.

I liked several episodes from season four. Might have just been because I was still young at the time though (I was 8 when the first movie came out)

Gave it a 4 because the new episodes are garbage. If they just ended it before they went off the deep end it wouldve been a 5.

it was really good until the movie, then the quality gradually dropped until season 8, and then it started recovering, especially after sponge out of water, due to hillenburg returning
