It's Stockton. The issue wasn't them not wanting to make the cake. The problem was finding a sober person.

Do the bakers advertise they make custom cakes? If so then bake the cake or stop advertising it. People are too easy to get offended these days. If you're too sensitive to make custom things for people then work somewhere different. Maybe McDonalds?

You can't force a company to make a specific product like that.
Refusing to make a custom cake isn't the same as refusing to serve specific groups of people.

Then at least put an asterisk after everything you offer and/or put some limitations. There's a reason lots of companies have a pile of fine print. Otherwise you're just false advertising.

And before I go for the night. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the bakery should be closed down or forced to make something they don't want to. But I do think they should be forced to take down any signs saying they do custom cakes, at least until they add some fine print about their personal opinions and policies.
