I wouldn't say hate. I'm generally happy for them. But I have noticed that I'm growing more bitter, and jealous as time goes on. Mostly over relationships, sex, and kids though.

No problem with making a lot of money for yourself or your family to have a comfortable life.

Fixing the thing I don't like about my life would cost me child support and half of my pension. I'd still be miserable and I would barely get to see my kid, so I'd rather us just both be miserable and get to keep my kid and money

Not at all. I prefer it when people are out enjoying life rather than sat at home with cheap beer complaining about how shit life is.

That being said, misery loves company. I have a few friends who love to sit and moan about their salaries and how they can never afford what some people do.

Meanwhile I prefer associating with the folks who enjoy the challenge and get things done. As an example, I gave a full on belly laugh the other day when I visited a friend for a beer and took my Aston Martin. Another friend parked up just as we were chatting on the doorstep, in his McLaren 12C. I love seeing friends do well.

I don't really have a problem with people who live well who are respectful.

I grew up in Tucson, which is full of shitty rich tourists who treat the roads like their racetrack so It grated on me for a long time before I moved to Scottsdale.

Sorry, like I said, bad day, and I still have bad memories of driving in the dt area during the summer.
