Truly, truly great fight. This is the best Wlad has looked in years. The stoppage was a tad weird because none of the punches in that final flurry were landing, but I"m happy with it because I think it should have been stopped after that second knock down. I had it even coming into that final round. AJ showed some clear holes (punching himself out, wide open to the uppercut) but this fight convinced me he is championship calibre.
What did Wlad need to do win? I think he could have made better use of the right-hand, particularly when AJ jabbed or when he lead with the hook. Would have liked to see Klitschko take a half-step back and unload.
But now I want a Fury comeback. I think Fury is a stylistic nightmare for AJ and on his best night gets the decision.
I live in a big house and it's handy to have a pair of running shoes so that it doesn't take me forever to get from one area of the house to another.
