You are forbidden to drive on highways/freeways. You will have to drive on local from now on. Other drivers that drive you can only drive on local.

If it was just interstates and similar roads, I'd do it. Highways though means pretty much not going anywhere.

Should be. At the very least, if it has a US or a State sign, then it shouldn't be considered drivable for this.

Super easy yes. Hawaii is tiny, so even without taking the freeway it won't take more than a few hours to go from one place to the next. Plus, anything worth a damn is in Honolulu or Waikiki, so you don't really need to drive for more than 20-30 minutes anyway, barring heavy traffic.

A lot (all?) of the routes are highways. I live near Route 8 and everyone calls it that, but it's technically the "William Flinn Highway."

My question is can we cross highways? I can take back lanes just fine, but if I can't cross route 8 or other highways at intersections then I'm trapped.
