There's no best game ever, but the only answer that would really confuse me is that there is a best game ever, and it's separate from one's favorite game.
So on it's own, affirming there is a best game ever is something, but where it gets really weird is agreeing there's a best game ever, and that it's not the one you like most. So I see this as a two pronged question that only gets bizarre when you agree to the first part, and then answer the second part in a certain way.
