I like a lot of vegetables.
I thought I hated green beans, until I went to a Chinese restaurant with a friend and she insisted on ordering them- so I gamely tried some, and they were actually really good. I assume my parents just don't cook them in a way that renders them tasty. I think I like mushrooms too: just not the portobello/baby bello/white button mushrooms that are the only mushrooms my parents have ever bought or prepared.
I don't like cooked broccoli (gross texture, brings out the bitterness), but I hate steamed/roasted cauliflower - just gross. You gotta fry it or drown it in sauce to make it good.
Oh, cucumbers. Cucumbers suck ass.
As for my favorite veggie, that's hard. Brussel sprouts are great when prepared correctly and lend themselves to a lot of different things. Okra is really nice. And of course potatoes are great- but you gotta eat the skins, because that's where the good nutrition is.
