I kinda sorta lied about my skillet
I mean my wife kinda "lied about her skillset" to get an accounting job early on her job search with zero accounting experience and got fired after two months... so not to be a negative, but if you don't think you can do the job, don't risk shooting yourself in the foot by lasting two months in the new job and then getting axed and not being able to go back to your current job.
If you're talking about just fudging the truth a little bit, then yeah that's understandable, everyone does that. My wife straight up claimed to have some talent in bookkeeping and was "good with numbers" which was enough to get her the job. Big difference between fudging/embellishing vs. straight up lying.
