Also the frog was the mascot for the WB for years. Everyone loves that frog lol

i know his history but tbh i don't remember any of his shorts or if i've seen them. i only really knew him as a kid because of animaniacs.

either way michigan j is one of the funniest fucking gags of all time so there's no way bosko was winning this.

Bosko is the "Talk-Ink Kid", right? I think I seen one of his cartoons on the net many years ago... he was interacting with his animator or something. I think it was made in 1928 or something.

I appreciate the history about the character and all, but... yeah, Michigan J. Frog is just in a memorable cartoon, so my vote goes to him.

Same.

It's like Oswald. You could be a huge Disney fan and have no idea who Oswald was (at least until Epic Mickey came out). It's really only cartoon historians who are going to know who characters like Oswald or Bosko are. Even super-fans can go for years and never really learn about them.
