The 4th book is a lot of people's favorite. There is an infamous slog for the series that takes place from book 7/8 through book 10. For me 8 and 9 had some good moments, but were just okay and book 10 was bad, but it gets back on track and finishes strong so don't let it deter you. I had a blast reading through this series and it is in my top 5 now.I'm going out to see if I can find the rest at half price books, hopefully I can otherwise I'll go to Barnes & Noble and see if they have it
You can get the box sets off Amazon for like 15 bucks each. That's 3 books per set. That's what I didI got the 1st set for Christmas that's why I only got through the first 3, and I generally avoid using Amazon, I'll get the next set off Barnes & Noble, they have it too
