My mom made some frozen pierogi but boiled them...

I didn't realize that boiling them was even an option but it is on the back of the package, in addition to stove, oven and air fryer.

I tried a small piece of one and the flavor inside was alright but the outside was kind of slimy and gross. I have the rest cooking on the stove with some butter.

Maybe I am being too hard on 'em but boiled just sounds gross.

All pierogies are boiled, but most pan fried afterwards.
