I just came across somebody who said "in 1900, a gallon of milk cost 13 cents. Not dollars, cents ."

Like, yeah...you just said that and it's entirely believable it cost pennies for a gallon of milk 124 years ago.

This is a pointless ramble but have at it, folks
Yeah; the things people do to add emphasis is sometimes a bit much for me, and is just annoying. I think this way about some sound effects in movies and video games too.
