For just over $500 Bucks? I want to get another Gaming Laptop so bad but money is kinda tight...

It has ok specs, but the only thing that bothers me is the 4GB VRam in the card, that's only 2GB higher than the 2017 GPU in my current Laptop
I mean, it has similar specs to my laptop that I bought 8 years ago, which was a midrange laptop at the time. Idk if it's a particularly good deal. My knowledge on current gaming laptops isn't good.

It must be a bottom bottom tier rig at this point, right?

Weakest link looks to be the video card.

I'd Youtube RTX 2050 laptop gaming to see what you can expect.

Here's what I'm contemplating right now...

1)

Has basically everything you could want in a gaming laptop, no extra work required. $1030

2)

Only $720. Can buy 64 GB RAM (2 x32) for just $130 per a sale on Amazon, and a 1 TB SSD for like $60 to add to the native 512 GB for 1.5 TB storage, and you've got a pretty souped up gaming laptop for like $900. Only downside is the graphics card is "only" RTX 4050. I've seen some say the 4060 or 3060/3070 are way better than it; others say the differences are marginal. I don't know...

EDIT: The RAM I meant: https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-2x32GB-4800MHz-Laptop-CT2K32G48C40S5/dp/B09S2QLBWC/

3) less useful to you, but...

I already bought this on Friday for $750 while it was on sale, and got a 2 TB SSD drive for $100 to go w/ it. But apparently it has a shit load of shutdown / sleep / hibernate / etc... issues that either are unique to Asus or just a result of using a newer AMD graphics card w/ "smart" features that the bugs haven't been worked out yet.
Strongly debating if I should buy one of the above 2 and cancel this order...

Yeah, I wouldn't buy it.

I'd get this one, and like Stream said, buy a 1TB SSD to put in myself. I personally think 64GB RAM is overkill though; I'd probably do 16, maaaaaybe 32.

One nice thing is it's 8 GB RAM but only 1 stick, so if you want just 16 GB, you only need to buy one more.

I was gonna do 32, but w/ some of the sales, higher RAM seemed pretty enticing for the small price increase.

You think the Lenovo w/ a RAM upgrade is better than the Asus (both need storage upgrade)?

Sorry for the long link w/ spaces, tried to narrow the google search down to 8 GB DDR5 4800 MHz (can't search for anything faster, oddly), one stick.
Aside from Ebay and sketchy sites I've never heard of, it's like $52-75 for a single 8 GB stick of RAM? Meanwhile the sale I posted was two 32 GB sticks (64 total) for $126.
That's what I meant where like..I started modest, then saw the prices for each size and was like, "may as well go big...."

For me, yeah. I'll admit, I'm a bit biased towards Lenovo as I have had generally good experiences with the 2 laptops I previously bought from them, and I do play with AI-related stuff sometimes so I'd rather have an Nvidia card for better compatibility with that.

good for the price. if you want more RAM , isn't there an option to upgrade on sites like these? only problem i could say is that newegg has a bad rep now, for sending in wrong items or damaged goods.

Thanks for the suggestions, and yea, I prefer Razer/MSI/Asus/HP Gaming Laptops and Intel CPUs; and it sold out quick, so I guess its was a very good deal to alot of people.

And that 64Bits of base RAM is too much, I think 32GBRam should be ok even for newer games. It's really depends on your GPU Ram on how well the game perform.

The deals now are better than BF/Cyber Monday, lol

I guess I should've waited longer to find my laptop. Even the A16 I got is $20 cheaper now, from Best Buy, same place I got it.
