Mongo is the giant gingerbread man.
Immediately after being born, and as a child, he is used as a weapon. He is Immediately attacked, dismembered, and left to die a slow death dissolving in the moat. Even after the day is saved, everyone throws a party and just leaves him there, leaving this poor child to die alone.
Also he comes back as a zombie in a shrek short.
