The opposite imo. Pokemon fans have been acclaiming their games despite being obviously rushed since gen 6.
Maybe they'll extend that 1 year development cycle.
there's quite a bit more between generations than 1 year
the team that worked on sc/vi isn't the team that did arceus, for example, nor is it the team behind the sw/sh dlc. sc/vi started development almost immediately after sw/sh
