Who? I thought we had moved beyond this the last several rip threads have properly given a brief description of why said individual would be someone people would know.
Look man, I've been there before, and I've done the who? thing in these threads and I've gotten modded over it (usually when it has to do with film or music or whatever.
Bill Russell is possibly one of the most recognizable Baseketball players of all time, I don't think I've ever seen a full game of Baseketball (hell I don't even really know the rules) but I know his name purely because I had a professor in college who would praise him as the greatest professional athlete of all time because the man simply did not lose and lived his life with that attitude.
