Look man, I've been there before, and I've done the who? thing in these threads and I've gotten modded over it (usually when it has to do with film or music or whatever.
Bill Russell is possibly one of the most recognizable Baseketball players of all time, I don't think I've ever seen a full game of Baseketball (hell I don't even really know the rules) but I know his name purely because I had a professor in college who would praise him as the greatest professional athlete of all time because the man simply did not lose and lived his life with that attitude.

Yeah hes one of the greatest basketball players ever. Played his entire career for the Boston Celtics and coached them at one point too I believe.

I dont care what anybody says, 11 rings is 11 rings, he should be in anybody's top 5 players ever.
