I started playing Elden Ring
Haven't played a souls game in like ten years and have never beaten one, what should I do
Just go around exploring, getting used to the combat. Find optional dungeons, run into a bear and get mauledi think i hate bears too.
i hate skeletons.
Nah you can buy upgrade materials laterSo are later weapons significantly stronger than the beginner ones? Or once they're all upgraded is it basically the same?
So are later weapons significantly stronger than the beginner ones? Or once they're all upgraded is it basically the same?Damage-wise the differences aren't super large between weapons in the same class so I recommend finding a weapon with an Ash of War that feels good to use. Weapons that can be upgraded with regular smithing stones can have their Ash of War and affinity customized. Somber smithing stone weapons are locked in place. Bloodhound's Fang is a somber weapon you can find in Limgrave and its Ash of War has carried me through the entire game
you can't kill whats already dead Nade Duck. :Pi have a holy enchantment on one of my weapons. can't use it or spirit ashes in this dungeon for some reason so killing the necromancer is the best bet.
so you'll have to do what a reddit post said and "get some church weapons"
the weapon enchant spells only work on weapons that do not already have an "effect".
so only normal, quality, keen, ect. if it has bleed, or poison or frost, ect. they wont work.
i think i hate bears too.
Just got my platinum amazing game, will most likely do a NG+ playthrough at a later dateWouldn't you need to complete NG+ to get the ending trophies for the plat?
Wouldn't you need to complete NG+ to get the ending trophies for the plat?I save scummed the endings
but ya,
the main thing putting me off from the game is the high price tag - $80 for standard and $100 for deluxe.
Console tax. It's $80 for deluxe on Steam.
and in canada, it is $100.
"console tax" isn't a thing lmao.

Really good at this game
The arrows are literally homing arrows. It doesn't matter which direction an enemy fires an arrow, it homes in on you.the distance doesn't seem to matter either. i think that's the one thing i absolutely hate in this game.
Oh I haven't played in over a month. I only completed one play through, then Kirby and the Forgotten Land came out, and that had my attention for a while, then I had a hankerin' to play some Bloodborne and Dark Souls, so I did that, then KH4 was announced, and I was like "man I should play KH3 finally" so I played KH2, and I'm gonna start KH3 for the first time today.Yo how's Kirby my kids want it but I'm on the fence. I wasn't crazy about Star Allies
